Open Question: What is going on? I think this may be serious.?
Hi, i recently started having a weird heart problem. I will be walking and i will suddenly get a stabbing pain in my chest. After a few seconds, it goes away. this has happened 5 times within the last two weeks. I looked it up online, and i saw that it could be precordial catch syndrome, which is nothing.
But let me give you background on me
10th grade- fainted
12th grade- fainted 5 times seizure once
Diagnosed with psuedotumor cerebri.
developed a major pressure in my cheekbone.
constant headaches
numb hands and feet at night time.
and lately i have been slightly short of breath.
CONSTANT PALPITATIONS. driving me crazy. my heart is always pounding especially when i lay down or go to the bathroom.. my eyes even pound
I went to a cardiologist 2 years ago who said i may have a valve problem and saw something on the echo test. unfortunately, i did not get the voice message until 2 months later. and decided to forget about it.
Today, I was very nervous for something and my heart was beating very fast. While i was doing it, I realized that my right hand and left arm went numb.
I am only 19 years old.
Is the stabbing feeling precordial catch or something much worse? I feel so stupid for never following up with the doctor, but I was a stupid highschooler and was to embarassed to call the doctor back after waiting for so long.
Also, i have a murmur. but i heard those dont matter
i am on a trip at the moment, and i will be able to get to a doctor by the middle of august
