Open Question: How to tell if I had a heart attack?
Ok so occasionally I get pains in my heart that seem to worsen when I breathe or continue what im doing (the pain appears with every beat of my heart). They sometimes dissapear when I stop everything im doing an just lie on the bed but often they seem to continue for around 20seconds or so after. I have spoken with friends about this and they say they get similar pains but im not sure if what their discribing is the same as what im getting and vice versa. SO how can I tell if ive had a heart attack, stroke, indigestion? I have quite a high pain threshold and am a bloke so of course I dont visit the doc as often as I should. When I did a while back I got given that hypocondriac kind of look.
I have a friend who died suddenly one night whilst his friend was dropping him home (just died in the car seat and the driver assumed he was sleeping). This was due to a misdiagnosed heart problem apparently.
I’d be interested to know more on how certain pains can be diagnosed without the need for going to a doctor. I hear all sorts of terms like heart murmurs, irregular heart beat, stroke, hearts attack,. Maybe there is a link online that shows sharp pain being higher priority than other pains etc.

Open Question: What, other than high cholesterol, genetics, and high blood pressure cause heart disease?
As my question states, is there more than just high cholesterol, genetics, and high blood pressure involved with heart disease? Are there other key components, or are these not even things that cause it?
