Open Question: What will happen to my dog?
Ok so my boston terrier will be turning 2 in 2 months. the vet had found a heart murmur a couple weeks ago aswell as an enlarged heart, we are schedualed to have an appointment with a cardiologist in a month, but my dog has just gotten worse and worse to the point he cannot even walk. he also stands up therefore he cannot breath while lying down. we finally ignored our vet and took him to emergency. they said he is doing really bad, they tried to take an ultrasound but he couldnt breathe so they had to stop. he is now in an oxygen cage. it is helping him breatyhe better, we asked if we could take him home tonight and they said there is no chance we could take him home tonight in such critical condition, otherwise we would have to put him down. so obviously we payed the fees to keep him in the hospital for a couple days until we can see the cardiologist, we love him to death. they said they don’t know if he will get worse or better, what do you think? they are trying to give him medications.
