Open Question: Chest Pains, please help?
I’ve been having chest pains for almost two weeks now. It feels like something sharp inside of my left chest. The pain gets stronger when I breathe, so I have to take less/small breathes until it goes away.
I’ve always been short of breathe, when I walk up a staircase the wind is knocked out of me- and I’m 100 lb. 17 yr. old healthy female.
I get them when resting at night, in morning, or anytime during the day- especially if I’m talking about or to my dad (which is stressful most the time)
Two minutes ago I was watching a funny show when I got these stabbing pains. These didn’t last long like the usual and I was breathing heavily while sitting in a chair. Shortly afterward I felt something funny, I realized I had this really annoying pain in my upper back (shoulder-blade area) and in the front of my left chest. The pain has grown stronger and I can hardly concentrate or get to sleep.
P.S>
My blood-aunt and my blood-sister both had hereditary holes in their hearts. I have a heart murmur. My dads side of the family has histories of panic attacks, as well as my sister.
Not all of my “symptoms” seem related, and I have absolutely no idea what this could be..?
Should I be going to my doctor about this problem?
Honest opinions only please- Thanks :)
