Open Question: My 22 month daughter recently was diagnosed with H Pylori…?
My 22 month daughter recently was diagnosed with H Pylori, and I was scared to death!! Our doctor says she is the first that he knows that has been diagnosed this young. In fact, at first he didn’t think he would check her for it but decided to do it just to eliminate it. I am worried because she has been vomiting for the past 8-9 months off and on with no answers. I have taken her to the ER and the Dr’s office a couple times, so she has seen several doctors. I am glad they finally found what was wrong but it makes me upset that this bacteria has been growing in her tummy for a long time now. I feel so bad for her because just today our Dr says its contagious, so a few family members are now acting like she is some alien. It breaks my heart to see this. My daughter is very loving and only knows how to love, the last thing I want to see is her getting rejected. Can you please shed some light on how serious this disease is and how we should deal with this.

Open Question: When a 6 year old complains she can hear her heart beat what does that mean?
My 6 year old has always had a heart murmur. We haven’t had it checked for a couple of years, altho she has been to the doctor a few times, and no one has said anything about it. *( you can hear it in a stethoscope)*
Anyways, she wasn’t feeling good Sunday during church, and later told me she could hear her heart beating really fast.. *( she can/does exaggerate sometimes)* Well, today she told me that at school the same thing happened, but this time it was after she got done Jogging, but that she wasn’t Jogging fast because of the shoes she was wearing.
I don’t want to be the mother who has their child to the doctor every 3 minutes, but at the same time I don’t want to overlook this in case it is something big.
Does anyone know what this could be?
