Open Question: why do people with medical diseases cant undergo CT scan?
Have a heart condition, such as heart failure.
hope someone can help me clarify this for my study.
those are the contraindications of CT scan:
# Have diabetes or take metformin (Glucophage) for your diabetes.
# Have had kidney problems.
# Have asthma.
# Have had thyroid problems.
# Have had multiple myeloma.
what are the effects of CT scan on those diseases?
thanks

Open Question: My cat needs a blood transfusion because he’s severely anemic?
He has a heart murmur and last night I thought he was going to die. He was lethargic with no energy to eat or drink and seemed to be gasping for breath. I took him to the vet and they said he has a heart murmur and that he has almost no red blood cells. But his liver and kidneys are OK, so she recommended a blood transfusion but that costs $3000 to $5000 and I can’t afford that. Is there any treatment I can do at home, like iron supplements?
