Open Question: Am I a good writer? I’m 14 atm.?
This story was a scene from a widely popular video game Kingdom Hearts II
Roxas Vs Riku
Roxas?s side:
I hadn?t seen him since I was to chase after him in twilight town. The impersonator. Yet- there he was. This building will be a memorable spot I thought to myself I?m not leaving Xion?s wish unfulfilled. Before I had a chance to think a dozen heartless swarmed up behind me. Neoshadows, pity they?re lives are all in vain? mumbled. Before giving them a chance I swiped around and dug the oath keeper directly through their bodies. The last looks on their eyes were an unforgetful look, sleek black body with emotionless slits for eyes. Feelings of pity came across me; I shook them off after remembering the impersonator was still standing atop the building. Your next, I thought then broke into a sprint.
I don?t know how it happened? one second I was throwing the oblivion at him, and the another second it was in his hand. Quickly thinking I flip in the air and fall to the ground. Upon impact, I noticed more Neoshadows had appeared. I sighed to myself, and sliced half of them with the oath keeper while desperately trying not to look at them in the eye. Once I had half of them killed, I glanced behind to discover I was back to back with the impersonator. I sprint backwards, and then turn towards him.
?Who, who are you?? I asked in an intolerable tone
?What does it matter,? The slightly spiked blue hair bellowed from the mans head, leaving nothing but an Organization XIII cloak and a thin black cloth covering his eyes, concealing his identity. ?I?m here for you, and for half of Sora.?
?Sora, Sora, Sora?? I said in an angered voice ?Enough about Sora!? I yell then go in to attack him. I was almost sure it was his first time handling a key blade, but his form was precise. With every strike I deal to him he countered it with an even more powerful strike. Eventually he got sloppy and I was able to deal a strike that caused him to hurtle towards the ground. I gave a slight smirk at him in near upright position. He murmured words that were hard to make out, and finally yelled them.
?Why, why do you have the keyblade?? His voiced bellowed, these words took me aback. This was what I was trying to figure out. I glanced at the oath keeper I held in my hand then looked back at him.
?Shut up!? I said and attempted to end it once and for all with one final strike. He was quicker than me. Hey regained his feet with a blow so hard it knocked me to the ground. Almost unconscious. I saw him, standing there with the oblivion. He couldn?t end it, he was to week. He dug the oblivion directly into the ground next to me, and began to walk away. I stood up with the oblivion in one hand and the oath keeper in the other. His look of aghast was all the most satisfying. I went in to hit him. Another surprise up his sleeve, he was highly agile and jumped out of the way.
?Quit running!? I yelled at him and didn?t get a reply for a few moments, finally the man bellowed
?Giving up already? Come on Sora, I thought YOU were stronger than that.? I don?t know how or why I said it, but these words just came out of my mouth
?Get real! Look which one of us is winning!?
There was a pause, the man looked almost, pleasantly surprised.
?So it?s true, you really are his Nobody. I guess DiZ was right.? The man said back
?No, I?m ME! Nobody else!? I yelled and went in to hit him, he dodged my first strike, but my second was to fast for him. His shoulder left with a deep cut. He put his hand to it in pain. ?How many times do I have to beat you?? I ask
?Your right? you?ve left me with no other choice.? The impersonator said
?What?? I replied, taken aback once more
?I have to release the power that?s been sitting in my heart. That power that?s been waiting there.? He said, before he did the unthinkable I remembered. I remembered his name- It was Riku. A cry of terror filled the air as darkness engulfed him. He emerged out of this- in a new form. The king of Heartless has returned. Ansem?
?I have accepted it.? Riku said to me and within a second teleported to me and grabbed me by my shoulders. I couldn?t breath; my keyblade fell out of my hand. There was no point in struggling now.

Open Question: Why is an America where everyone has health insurance a bad thing?
These are all facts, so i’m asking for serious debate not knee jerk partisan reactions. I’ve taken the time to ask a serious question, the least you can do is take the time to answer it in the same fashion.
In fall 2009 there were 46.3 million Americans without health insurance. 75 years ago America was near the top of the list in terms of life expectancy, now it ranks 49th. Jean De Kervasdoue a french health economist noted ” The poorest third of the population in england and france live longer than the richest third in the United States. Considering the amount of money spent in the US on health care ( 16% of the GDP, by far the highest in the developed world.), that’s all pretty lousy.
In the US, if you don’t have health insurance, the only option is to go to the ER, i don’t think anyone can argue that even if you do have health insurance, a trip to the ER is no picnic. Even the best health insurance can still result in you paying 20% of your final bill, which can run into the thousands. Insurance companies also don’t pay on procedures they consider ‘elective’, even if it can help your quality of life.
If you lose your job in the US, you lose your insurance, a medical emergency can wipe out your savings, investments, and put you into serious debt.
Compare all that to France, in France ( they have national health care) , you don’t go to the emergency room for basic medical treatment, you call your doctor, and you go. If you do have an emergency the basic charge for treatment at an ER is 22 Euros, actually because the national health insurance reimburses 70% of that, you end charge is 9 Euros.
Twice in the last decade the French system has been named best in the world, in 2000 it was recognized by the World Health Organization ( W.H.O) for the high quality of their care, for covering every person in their country and doing it relatively inexpensively ( cheaper than it’s done here). United States rank…37th. I should also note, when i said the French system reimburses 70 % of your cost there’s fine print. If you have a really serious condition, cancer, heart disease, or a stroke, it won’t reimburse you 70%. It’ll reimburse you 100%. The sicker you are, the better your coverage. Right now, serious illness in the US can run into 6 or 7 figures, Over half the bankruptcies in America cite out-of-pocket medical costs as a contributing factor.
Under the French system, your health insurance is tied to you, not your job, every citizen gets a carte vitale- the green health insurance card, a card accepted at just about every health provider in the country. A system that’s perfectly built for a world where people switch jobs as often as we do now. And that coverage stays with with you even if you lose you job. It’s not based on the individuals ability to pay.
America spends the most on health care. SInce 1990 it’s spent more on health care than any other country in the world, and yet it shows the third smallest increase in life expectancy. We’ve seen that the market can’t fully regulate the financial system, you cannot believe that the market can control the health care system.
Right now health care in America, is based on chasing profits, health is a common good, it’s not soda. You can’t base the health of your society on a bottom line, and having everyone pay into a health care system actually reduces the individual cost. That’s basic economics.
Again, using France as my example taxes aren’t higher, a worker in france pays about 19% of his income, towards not just his or her health insurance, disability insurance, retirement benefits and unemployment insurance, and a few other things that fall under the umbrella of french social security. If you consider what an American pays, it’s not all that much different.
Also, yes, it should be a choice, thats easy to say when you’re young, in your 20-30’s and indestructibale, but ask anyone over 45 what they think about the need for insurance and see what you get.
Lifestyle is again, about education and choice. Encouraging people to live healthier lifestylesshould be part of any health reform, but right now, the people with health insurance who don’t take care of themselves are already making the premiums of the healthy go up. And as for people who don’t have health insurance and are still getting treated at ER’s around the country, when if they can’t afford to pay, those costs aren’t ‘eaten’ by the hospital, they’re passed on in higher costs anyway.
Ameirca’s already the ‘fattest’ nation in the world, and all the medical issues associated it with that hurt the current system.
As for everyone keeping whatever system they have now. Did you know that individual insurers negotiate their own payments from medical providers. Different ones for every company. That creates a lot of paperwork. 7cents on every dollar you spend towards insurance goes towards dealing with that paperwork. National insurance means all your information is linked to one central database, it also means that there’s one costs for every procedure, no more paperwork. If you consider insurance right now is a billion dollar industry thats already a savings of 70 million dollars.
And yes, national insurance is only for citizens, if you’re not a citizen, you’re “treated and streeted” as cheaply as they can. They same thing that happens now, the difference is it still costs less, because everyone who is a citizen has better coverage and medical providers don’t have to deal with as many unpaid medical expenses, that they then pass on to the rest of us.
