Open Question: Hypertension, Irregular Heart Beat & A Murmur?
I am 28 years old and I was diagnosed with hypertension three years ago. I have changed the way I eat and I am currently on three blood pressure pills a day to keep my blood pressure at a normal level. Recently, I have been showing signs of an irregular heart beat and today I was told that I have a heart murmur. My first question is, is a heart murmur and an irregular heart beat the same thing? Secondly, the last time I saw my heart doctor he said not to worry about the irregular heart beat. To me this is something that I am very concerned about. Should I seek out a second opinion or trust him on this? Please someone help me I am scared that there is something very wrong with me that they are not finding.
