like it’s thumping all hard and randomly in a row…i’m healthy..eat well and exercise too. i’m 15. what could be wrong? murmur or something?

Open Question: Need help with my cat?
4 years ago I got a female kitten, she was 6 weeks old…2 months later i got a male kitten he was 6 weeks old at the time to be her playmate. Well 2 days ago my beloved femal cat suddenly passed away from a blood clot in her heart, she had a heart disease that we were never aware of…my male cat is so depressed and lonely without her, they were best buds, they were both indoor cats and where ever 1 was the other was right behind. I feel so awful for him, some say I should get another kitten, others say fish or a hamster to keep his mind off of her. He is very territorial and im not sure getting another kitten is a great idea. I dont know what to do, im grieving the los of my cat and so afraid my other one will die of loniless. I give ALL my attention since she has passed and if i leave the house i leave the tv play just so he will hear some noise. He walks around the housing howling and looking for her…Please anyone that has been through this tell me what you did to help your cat. Im very worried about him
