I’m a relatively healthy (or so I assume) 27 year old female. I have no known medical conditions but for a few years I’ve had the strangest fluttering feeling in my heart. It comes on out of nowhere and my heart will beat very rapidly and very hard for maybe 10 seconds or less, I usually get a fluttering feeling in my chest and sometimes up into my neck. Sometimes afterwards I will feel like my heart is kind of weak, but this could be from anxiety since I do get nervous when it happens. Please note, this is very rare….sometimes I’ll go months without it happening, but recently I’ve had these little episodes 2 or 3 times in a 2 week period. Does anyone know what could cause this, and is it serious? Thanks in advance.
