Voting Question: Universal Health Care Question?
Why do people say universal health care is going to be the health care reform we need? yes for minor procedures (like check ups and all) it will make it more affordable, but under the canadian system, if you need any major procedures (say heart arythmia) you are asked to wait up to 6 months for a doctor to become available, then after you get your doctor, you may have to wait upwards to 2 years to actually have your procedure (in which fatalities may occur). so why does America need Universal Health Care, when all the system we are currently under needs is price regulation, and government sposored health care to be brought out of debt.
my kids are on illinois ‘all kids’ program and when we call a doctor, if they say that they are accepting new patients and they say that they can see us within 2 hours, as soon as we tell them we’re on that, then it jumps to 2 weeks. GOVERNMENT HEALTH CARE CAN ONLY WORK IF THE GOVERNMENT CAN PAY ITS BILLS.

Open Question: Heart murmur, palpitations, and pain.?
I am a 21 yr old female and I am in good health besides this problem of mine. When I was 14 years old I was diagnosed with a heart murmur. I was hooked up to an EKG for a day and my doctor said that I really shouldn’t be worried. I am now 21 years old and for the past couple of years I have been having heart palpitations. I’m not active when it occurs I am usually resting when I notice it. I also have began to feel sharp pains in the left side of my chest. The pain feels like a stabbing sensation every time my heart beats and it hurts more when I breath in. I don’t have medical insurance or else I would be asking my doctor. Although when this started I did have insurance and did go to my doctor and she simply said it was heart burn, which I am quite sure it is not. Should I be worried?
