Voting Question: What are the complications of a heart arythmia?

I’m 14 years old, and I’ve just recently been diagnosed with a heart murmur.. my pediatrician has referred me to a cardiologist, and i’m scared to death. My mom actually started crying in the doctor’s office, which really frightens me. The doctor asked me if i had chest pain and i said no, but once, when I was eating, i had this thing where my heart hurt so badly (it felt as if i had a heart attack) but only for a second, and then it was over. I’m scared to go to the cardiologist.. i really am in need of some consolation or advice.
